Smiley Joe's Fish and Chip Shop

The chip's were awesome. Delicious and the fish was fresh and less oil. We the seafood basket. The prawns were missing. Squid was fresh. The rest was ok. But I would say. This was the best fish and chips. There is limited sitting outside.

We discovered Smiley Joe’s Fish and Chip Shop in Falcon, WA, thanks to a recommendation from our lovely hosts at a nearby BnB — and we’re so glad we listened. Without question, this was some of the best fish and chips we’ve ever had. The portions were incredibly generous — one standard serve was enough for two full meals, and that’s saying something! The fish was super fresh and beautifully cooked, with a light, crispy breading that added flavor without being greasy or heavy. You can tell care goes into the preparation here. The chips were also spot-on: golden, crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and well seasoned. There’s a reason this spot is a local favorite — it’s a simple setup, but they absolutely nail the quality. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Smiley Joe’s is a must-stop for anyone who enjoys traditional fish and chips done right. If you're travelling through Falcon or the Mandurah area, do yourself a favor and grab a takeaway — it’s worth the slight detour. We'll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Love these guys especially when they are all dresses in her Hawaiian gears. They look great cook great fish and chips, the service is friendly and my favourite potato scallops the boom

Awesome Fish and chips in the local area. Never been disappointed yet. Great servings and a good price for what you receive. Can get very busy at peak times, but they do take phone orders which is a big plus. Loved the shark, pineapple rings and pawn cutlets, oh and the chips too. Great work guys.

Probably the best fish we've ever had! And portions are HUGE. Ordered for two and could have fed 6! Incredibly friendly staff and service, will be back next time we're here on a holiday

The food was pretty good. Got the small seafood basket. Came with snapper. I think having the malt vinegar on it made a few parts soggy by the time I ate but the flavor of the fish was on point. Wasn't a fan of the crab stick. The scallop also didn't taste the freshest. The shrimp was amazing. The squid ring was a bit soggy but pretty tender. The chips are not the best compared to others I have had so far. Get your sauces out of the drink fridge before you go. If you are hunting the giants a good midway lunch spot. No seats but a near by park has a few tables.

Best fish and chips I've had in all my travels. Big portions and fresh fish. And great value. Well done. A must if your around the area.
